General Scope of Work:
Qualification Standards:

Education      : Bachelor’s Degree in records management, library and information science, office administration, and other allied courses

Experience    : Two (2) years of relevant experience in one or a combination of the following: records management, library and information services, office administration, and other disciplines

Eligibility        : Career Service Professional or Second Level Eligibility

Training         : Eight (8) hours of relevant training in records management, library and information science, office administration, and other related training courses

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the GCG Records Custodian and perform daily supervision on records management operations to ensure timely completion and delivery of the services;
  2. Monitor and report possible nonconformities and opportunities for improvements related to the records management processes to easily develop and implement the necessary corrective and preventive actions;
  3. Oversee the support services on records management to ensure the service availability and continuity for the GCG stakeholders and end-users;
  4. Review the current operations on records management and recommend necessary enhancements for the Commission;
  5. Plan and develop policies and procedures on records management to ensure compliance in regulatory laws related to records management;
  6. Establish and institutionalize the programs, policies and procedures on records management to avoid adverse effects to the organization due to nonconformities and violations;
  7. Evaluate and assess the records management operations to attain continual service improvement; and
  8. Perform other functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
