General Scope of Work:
Qualification Standards:

Education      : Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job

Experience    : Three (3) years of relevant work experience

Eligibility        : Career Service Professional or Second Level Eligibility

Training         : Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Create communication plans and initiatives for internal and external stakeholders to communicate the Agency’s objectives, programs, and outputs;
  2. Execute and evaluate communication initiatives for internal and external stakeholders to communicate the Agency’s objectives, programs, and outputs and find opportunities for improving said initiatives;
  3. Monitor news concerning GCG and the GOCC Sector and provide the Commission with holding statements/key messages relevant to the news if necessary to help control the message that the Agency wants to send to the target audience;
  4. Create and release press statements on behalf of the Commission to communicate the Agency’s objectives, programs, or outputs;
  5. Handle media/public relations/affairs to answer their requests or queries concerning GCG or the GOCC Sector, and build, develop, and maintain relations between them and GCG; and
  6. Manage and update portions of the GCG website, ICRS Public Portal, and Whistleblowing Web Portal to communicate the Agency’s objectives, programs, or outputs.
