Qualification Standards: |
Education : Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting, Business Management, Legal Management, Economics, Public Administration, Developmental Studies and other Social Science
Experience : One (1) year of relevant work experience
Eligibility : Career Service Professional or Second Level Eligibility
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training

Duties and Responsibilities: |
- Work with the Corporate Governance Officer (CGO) III in the review and evaluation of the performance and determination of the relevance of the GOCCs under the division, to ascertain whether such GOCCs should be reorganized, merged, streamlined, abolished or privatized in consultation with the department or agency to which the GOCC is attached;
- Provide inputs to the CGO III in the request of the GOCCs under the division, for the GCG’s provision of technical advice and assistance to the government agencies to which the GOCCs are attached, in setting performance objectives and targets;
- Monitor the performance of GOCCs under the division vis-à-vis the GOCCs’ established objectives and target performance;
- Provide inputs to the CGO III in the review of existing policies affecting the government corporate sector;
- Provide inputs to the CGO III in the formulation and recommendation of policy reforms and guidelines on the provision of government support to GOCCs under the division;
- Work with the CGO III in providing inputs to assist the Commission in the establishment of the Performance Evaluation Systems, including Balanced Scorecards, for the GOCCs under the division;
- Work with the CGO III in the review and evaluation of the recommendation to classify/sub-classify the GOCCs under the division;
- Work with the CGO III in the review and evaluation of proposals from any government agency that is under the division, to either: (i) establish a GOCC or related corporation under the Corporation Code; or (ii) purchase a corporation or acquire the controlling interest therein;
- Perform coordination, monitoring, evaluation and assessment of the operations, performance and management of the GOCCs under the division, ensuring its alignment and consistency with national development policies and programs;
- Prepare performance reports of GOCCs under the division for review of the CGO III;
- Assist in the administrative duties including data management, mailings, telephone support and other activities as required; and
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
